We took our amazing residents out to Esther Simplot Park for a relaxing day of fishing, fresh air, and beautiful scenery. Thereā€™s nothing like the joy of being outdoors, casting a line, and sharing laughs together by the water.

Today at Arbor Village, our hearts were full as we celebrated Easter with a joyful egg hunt alongside our grandkids! Watching the smiles, laughter, and excitement as they searched for colorful eggs made for such a special day.

To make it even more meaningful, we were blessed to listen to beautiful music from a local church, filling our community with peace, joy, and the true spirit of the season.

We headed out for a fun-filled outing to Emerald Lanes where the sound of laughter echoed louder than the bowling pins! Some of our residents showed off their bowling skills (and a little friendly competition šŸ˜‰), while others enjoyed a relaxed game of pool, sharing stories, jokes, and plenty of encouragement along the way.

After working up an appetite, we made our way to Golden Star Chinese and American Restaurant where we gathered around the table for a delicious lunch. Thereā€™s just something special about sharing a meal together ā€” the conversations, the laughter, the feeling of connection that turns moments into memories.

Days like today remind us that life doesnā€™t slow down ā€” it simply becomes richer in meaning. At Arbor Village, we believe in continuing to create joy, adventure, and togetherness at every stage of life.

A special thank you to Vanessa and Sandi, our Life Enrichment Team, for the countless hours they put in to making our events special, and to Danielle, our Culinary Director, and her team for providing delicious, plentiful foods and deserts.

We are incredibly grateful to the Boise VA Veterans Association for joining us at Arbor Village for our Veterans Su***de Prevention Fundraiser. ā¤ļøšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

Thanks to an amazing turnout from our community, we shared a day filled with laughter, connection, and generosity. From the excitement of giving away some truly awesome prizes to the heartfelt moments we all experienced together, it was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people come together for a meaningful cause.

We are especially honored that we were able to present our donations directly to the Boise VA team at the end of the eventā€”supporting the critical mission of preventing veteran su***de and standing by those who have served our country.

Today was one for the books at Arbor Village! ā¤ļø

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic outing to Topgolf in Meridian, where laughter, connection, and a delicious lunch filled the day. What made it truly special? Watching every single residentā€”whether using walkers or wheelchairsā€”get up, take their swing, and fully embrace the moment.

There is something incredibly powerful about seeing determination turn into joy. Barriers didnā€™t stand a chance today. Instead, we saw confidence, courage, and a whole lot of fun.

At Arbor Village, we believe life doesnā€™t stopā€”it simply finds new ways to be lived. And today was a beautiful reminder that no matter where you are in life, there is always room for laughter, movement, and meaningful moments.

šŸ’š We are so proud of our residents for showing us all what it means to keep living life to the fullest.

A huge thank you to Pathways Christian School for coming out and spending time with our residents. From cookie making and puppet crafting to sharing laughs over games of pool, your kindness and energy truly brightened everyoneā€™s day.
