"Cooking has always been second nature." Growing up watching her mom whip up delicious meals, Maricela’s love of cooking was baked right in. From traditional Mexican dishes like green pozole to rich, savory mole, every meal she makes at Edgewood Plantation Place Assisted Living is served with a whole lot of heart.

What makes Maricela truly special isn’t just her cooking. She treasures the balance she’s found here, where her personal time is respected, allowing her to travel, make memories with family, and recharge. The friendships she’s built with her team turn every workday into something bright and fun. When you’re surrounded by people who care, even a busy kitchen feels like home.

And that’s why we have great people take care of our great people: because our team, just like Maricela, brings heart, skill, and joy to every corner of our community. We are Edgewood.
