The absolute goal of Dr. Hubert’s practice is to provide patients with the level of biological and integrative dental care that will achieve not only their optimal oral health but also assist in presenting an individualized health consultation. With the focus of personalized care, Dr. Hubert has designed his practice to treat one patient at a time. Each incoming patient receives a thorough clinical exam and consultation. Treatment is tailored to the patient’s needs and expectations using biocompatible and mercury-free materials, all enhanced with microscopic precision techniques. Dr. Hubert is a one-of-a-kind, patient-centered professional with the arsenal and knowledge to assist in reaching dental and health goals.
After completing undergraduate studies at Purdue University, Dr. Hubert earned his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1981. He has been practicing integrative dentistry for 37 years. It began in Boise Idaho in 1982, but as the new century approached, Dr. Hubert and his wife Barbara relocated to Maui, Hawaii in 2000 and practiced there for 17 years. In 2017, they moved back to Boise, missing family and the outdoors that only Idaho has to offer.
Dr. Hubert is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), The American Academy of Ozone Therapy (AAOT), certified in ozone therapy in 2006, and The Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry. In June of 2010, he obtained his Board Certification as a Naturopathic Physician, along with a degree in Integrative Biological Dental Medicine.
Dr. Hubert was one of the first dentists to incorporate the surgical operating microscope into his practice, and he continues to use this instrument, greatly enhancing precision in every procedure he performs. For over 33 years, Dr. Hubert has been a mercury-free dentist and participates in continuing education on a regular basis. He is well aware of new and improved technology and dental advancements. He prides himself on providing his patients with the most careful, precise, and integrative sound dental technologies available.
Dr. Hubert is also certified in oxygen/ozone therapy, which is another key in achieving the goal of longevity, comfort and beauty in oral health care. Ozone is a gas that can be used medically for its therapeutic properties. Controlled ozone application has been found to be extremely safe and free from side effects, and it is one of the most powerful agents that we can use on microorganisms. Dr. Hubert has utilized ozone in his dental procedures for the last 15 years. He is extensively trained in its practice, and uses ozone gas in all of his procedures. Water infused with ozone is also used in every dental prophys (cleaning). This keeps patients safe from infection!

Continuing education has been one of the most important aspects of Dr. Hubert’s commitment to excellence in clinical outcomes. Throughout his career, he has participated and advanced in many programs, including the following: the full curriculum of Practical Clinical courses (Utah); the full curriculum of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education - restorative and occlusal therapy (Florida); the full curriculum of the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Study - esthetics, restorative, occlusion (Washington); the full curriculum of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies - esthetics, restorative and occlusion (Nevada); and completed advanced training with the highly regarded Dental Education Laboratories, incorporating the practice of microscopic enhanced root canal therapy by world-renowned L. Stephen Buchanan, DDS. In recent years Dr. Hubert has completed numerous courses in surgical techniques with an emphasis on antogalous regeneration techniques utilized with bone grafting and preservation. Dr. Hubert’s commitment to education is ongoing and consistent.

Dr. Hubert is well-researched, well-read, and has spent countless lecture hours in study of functional nutrition. He passionately believes nutrition is of primary importance in oral, and indeed, whole body health.
