We loved having Kelsy Newton, Psy.D., a provider at St. Luke’s, speak with our physical therapists about pediatric chronic pain and pain education.
Kelsy specializes in pediatric behavioral health and pediatric neuropsychology, and our PTs were excited to learn new strategies they can implement to better support kids during their sessions. Thank you for sharing your expertise with our team!

🚨 Important Update for Idaho Therapy Providers & Families 🚨
Starting January 1, 2026, Idaho Medicaid will cap OT, PT, and Speech Therapy at 20 visits per discipline per year, unless additional visits are approved through prior authorization. This change will DIRECTLY impact access to medically necessary therapy for many children across our state.
WE URGE YOU TO ATTEND:

January 22, 2026 | 8:00–11:30 AM
Clinic owners, clinicians, and patients are encouraged to attend and discuss the real-life impact of these Medicaid cuts.

Serena completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and earned her graduate degree from the University of Puget Sound. 💜💛🌲
She loves working with kids because every day brings something new—kiddos inspire her to see the beauty, creativity, and joy in everything she does! 🎨💫
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her outside skiing, walking, or exploring new places. ⛷️🌿 She also loves thrifting, visiting local coffee shops, and spending time with her favorite people. ☕💛
