Earthing. Most of you know this practice but how many of you are consistent with it during the colder months? Earthing or grounding is the practice of putting our feet or hands on the earth. This can also be putting our hands on trees, or if you garden putting your hands on plants and in the dirt. This time of year get out with your gloves and try to do 5 minutes on a tree, switching your hands to get your nervous system to recalibrate. Even if you’re not stressed, we need to do this preventatively!

Getting Sunshine on Your Face. Get outside and gaze at the sun. Not directly of course, but towards it and let the sunshine get on your face. I love this time for meditation and visualizing and feeling into gratitude, peace, love, joy or inspiration. Meditate and soak in the rays. This is so needed. When you are out walking or hiking, take off your sunglasses. Unless you’re driving and need them, we don’t want to rely on sunglasses. We need sunshine on our faces without anything in the way. Be sure to not use sunscreen while doing this practice either or you’re missing the benefits of receiving the natural D3 from the sun.

Move Your Body. Especially stretching. I know I share a lot about yoga, but you don’t have to be flexible to do stretching or many kinds of gentle yoga (or my breathwork yoga). If you sit a lot, or if you’re active a lot, you will need to stretch to counteract the body being pulled in other ways. Walking is also free and available to all of us no matter the time of day. It’s a great way to move the lymph, which assists you in moving toxins out. Do this daily even if it’s only 5 minutes.

Sea salt water when you wake up. Did you know we are made up of .4% sodium and about what equates to 40 teaspoons of sea salt? We need healthy sea salt daily in our food, and especially in the morning to replenish and hydrate. Also, pink himalayan or celtic sea salt have trace minerals that work in conjunction to assist the body in further hydration and healing. It’s a simple addition that is so necessary!

While the world likes to bustle about, we are entering winter. I know what this means, more cat naps! But really, let's lean into more stillness, quietude with family or ourselves, in or out of nature and rest. We are still in Mercury Retrograde too, and the shadow period to follow. We need to rest, reflect, rejuvenate, rethink, and then revisit and revise after this to find where we are with our pursuits. Be sure to look at friendships, self-care, finances, business (if you have one), family, and health. What would you like to do differently? What is one small goal (perhaps in each area) that you can begin today?

Friends we need tools for the ways that we must change through these time. We need more quietude. We need less noise, less social media, and more time in nature to get quiet and find ourselves and get our answers. The Truths that only we can find. 🙏

A vision quest ✨is an opportunity to step into your inner temple, and perhaps new unchartered territory that allows you to seek or find revelation on your path. Often a quest begins with a question, or an intention. Perhaps you know something is about to change, or it already has, or you have been spending more time on your own due to desire or circumstance. 🥹🧐

You may be feeling the need to be alone, or feel unsettled in your life in some way. The change could be related to career, family or other relationships, finances, etc. When we go on a vision quest, we go into nature in solitude🪶🐾🌿; into ourselves to receive direction and guidance to an important life question of which way to go, or what is needed to achieve further peace and wholeness.

This is a tool I have used as I transitioned out of my last career, and helped me to find my path to Chinese Medicine. And I have found lots of inner answers in this quietude. 🐇✨

Are you ready to find your inner Truth? To find the peace and joy 🦋that comes with knowing, that is resolute and within you? We don’t use plant medicine to get here. Only fasting from food, lots of water, and time in a secluded place in nature🌲🦅🌱🌿. I will hold a safe container and be your guide using shamanic tools and following the Earth's energies of the 4 directions and aligning with our nature spirit allies. 🐍🐌🐝

Interesting how it only takes one day for our health to start to crumble. To make the wrong choice, to have an accident, to start thinking things that could spiral you out, to stress and then not sleep well, 😏🤷‍♀️ or eat foods that really disrupt the body. The body and its symptoms are always showing you its needs.✨ 🤔 And what comes to the surface physically are reminders to each of us to take the time for self-care.

This can also come about when we put others before our needs, and when we do, the body resists and tells us through the pain or frustrating symptoms. In listening to our physical or emotional needs, we can attend to our heart and physical being with a course correction. 🌠 🌱⚡️

And when we get to a place of imbalance, we need to reach out to a practitioner for guidance on our best path of healing, and take the extra time to rest and allow the body to heal.🌼✨

Did you know that Amma Therapy can assist you in getting you into alignment and keep you well or push out a cold or virus?🩷 😇✨ Many times we come in to get a session for pain or perhaps for reducing stress. And the really cool thing is that unlike a regular massage, you can get well from a session and also prevent getting sick especially in the late summer season through September. I remember the first time the trees really spoke to me in unison ✨ very loudly in my mind amidst my favorite path in a quiet forest. It was pre-Covid and they told me of a large and looming upcoming change🐲. But I also knew from them I didn't need to fear it. I had no idea what was coming our way. After I heard this, I was not ready to talk about this, or my other communication with trees for some time. It still feels very personal and also egotistical or unspiritual or 😏🤷‍♀️something. But I've decided to push through the resistance, because it’s important to share this. 🌳🌿

And here’s why. You see, we can all talk to trees 🌳and flowers🌺, grass, rocks, birds 🦆and all the animals. But it can take practice. And it can take patience. And most importantly, it’s a tool to connect to your own intuition and realize you too can find your own inner truth and inner peace and answers inside you or in nature. 🙏🌿🍃

I spend time around people who have spiritual practices✨, but that doesn’t mean that they all feel safe or secure in this world. Many of us can go looking for answers in podcasts🤔, and searching through news, or whatever other authority places we go to outside of us. And most likely you do this too. And it’s ok to look for some answers with others. We can certainly find guides. ☺️

Most of us are however spend too much time out there, and are too clouded by EMF noise to come into coherence with our hearts🩷 and feel deeply regulated. And looking in all those places are often not where YOUR answers lie. They lie inside you. 😇✨

And part of what we’re doing here at this time on Earth 🌠is Re-Member-ing. We are drawing back on tools that perhaps we had in other lives, or that our ancestors had, but didn’t talk about or pushed away. We’re here to reclaim it. We’re here to recognize and reattune, and then refine our abilities. 🌱⚡️

When you get quiet in nature 🌴✨🪽, you get what you need. You can recalibrate, regulate, and receive all that you need. Even if you don’t hear anything at all. Then that’s exactly what you needed.

Today remember how far you've come. What things you've had to do to get to where you currently are. What have you overcame? What are the things that no one will see? What are the ways that you've shined perhaps without the piece of paper, the recognition, or words of affirmation. And yes, some of it has been acknowledged. Today, take a moment to let it sink in all that you are and have done and celebrate you!
