My recent trip to Hawaii reminded me… 🌊

When the world feels loud, sometimes self regulation comes from nature herself.

Plug in your headphones and listen to the natural beauty of the Hawaiian Islands on repeat.

Take a couple of sighs through the mouth.
Breathe in the fresh air.

Let it slow you down.
Let it bring you back.

Spring has sprung 🌿

More light.
More air.
More space to move.

Out in Moab, where the earth feels ancient and wide open, practice looks like this.

You can take your practice outside
feel the sun, the earth, the connection.

Or come inside, where the space is held at a steady 72°
and the experience stays just as grounding.

Because the practice isn’t really about where you are.

It’s about how you feel.

Inside and outside
finding balance
coming back to yourself 🤍

Come practice with us.

Beyond Asana 🌿

Loving kindness isn’t just something we think about
it’s something we practice.

Begin by noticing.
What are you feeling?
What are you thinking?

Settle into your breath.
Inhale. Exhale.
Let the mind soften.

Then gently repeat:

May I be well.
May I be happy.
May I be safe.

Let it land.
Let it become real.

Then extend that same kindness outward
to someone you love,
to someone you don’t know,
and even to someone who has caused you pain.

This is where the practice begins to shift
how we see ourselves
and each other.

A small practice
with a powerful impact.

April carries the vibration of the Neutral Mind — the mind that does not react, does not suppress, but sees clearly and chooses wisely. This is beautiful. It is also where the challenge lives.

When this energy runs unchecked, it rigidifies. You push through signals the body is sending. You force plans that need rerouting. You fight the block instead of reading it. You run so hot that the cooling breath becomes a distant memory.

April can bring eruptions — reactions that feel bigger than the situation, old tensions rising in unexpected moments, collective anxiety landing in the body as if it is personal.

This is not something to push away. It is something to release — consciously, before it releases itself.

When the eruption comes, ask what has been held too long. Name it. Soften it. Make it smaller in your words and smaller in your thinking.

And then return to center. Hands on the heart. Breath through the nose. The neutral mind is always one breath away.

Join Mantra Simran at Yoga Tree on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 and Saturdays from 10:45-12:00 for April Kundalini Classes to Break through the blocks.

Treefort is here! 🙏🤘

Throwing it back to a few Yogafort moments over the years. So many meaningful experiences shared in this space, bringing together yoga, music, movement, and community in such a unique way.

So many teachers, artists, and community members have been part of this in different ways.

Grateful for the memories and sending love to everyone holding it down this year 🤍

Treecher Wednesday 🌿
Yoga B***y Flow 🍑

A focused, low-impact class designed to build strength, mobility, and balance while moving with intention and breath.

This practice blends yoga and Pilates-inspired movement to support and strengthen the body, with a little extra love for the legs and glutes.

Expect fluid sequences, grounded strength, and space to connect to your breath throughout.

We’ll move from standing postures into strengthening work, finishing with hip mobility and gentle stretches.

All levels are welcome and encouraged.

Wednesdays with Jill
4:45–5:45 PM

Beyond Asana

Matsyasana invites depth and vulnerability.

The heart lifts.
The throat opens.
The body becomes exposed in a way that asks for both courage and trust.

This posture reminds us that strength is not always rigid. Sometimes strength is the willingness to soften, to breathe, and to stay present in the opening.

In yoga, vulnerability is not weakness.
Vulnerability is strength.
It is awareness.

Treecher Spotlight 🌿

Kimberly teaches yoga in a way that welcomes every BODY.

Her classes weave movement, breath, and alignment with something deeper. Stories, myths, and the wisdom of yoga traditions that remind us why this practice has been passed down for generations.

Yoga also became personal for Kimberly. After being affected by scoliosis in her early 20s, she discovered through consistent practice that the body can change, strengthen, and heal.

That experience continues to shape the way she teaches today. With compassion, creativity, and a belief that yoga is a lifelong practice of learning.

At Yoga Tree if Boise, Kimberly invites students to move with curiosity, listen to their bodies, and remember that flexibility is not just physical. It’s body, mind, and spirit.

We’re grateful for the inspiration and storytelling she brings to our community.
