Gabby is one of our Substance Abuse Counselors. She frequently brings her cats to work. They are very friendly and the purrfect office companion for all of us, including our clients.

Bringing my dogs to work has been beneficial for both me and my clients. Their presence adds a sense of comfort to the office, particularly during stressful days and they often bring smiles to clients’ faces and help create a calming environment when clients feel anxious or overwhelmed.

The staff at Access say that bringing their pets into the office helps to reduce stress in many ways. The clients often enjoy petting animals and some have told me that they have clients who will only relax and engage when the dog is present!
