I came in with a long history of lower back pain from an injury since high school that had/has been nagging me for years. I regularly strength train, run and mountain bike. My lower back recently had been angry with any hinging, squatting, or forward reaching movements. I came in thinking Dr. Hoskyn would prescribe me a mobility plan and I would adhere to it. because he told me to. Oh, was so wrong! Dr. Hoskyn took the first hour asking me lots of questions about my back and getting to know everything he could about it. The second half of the session, we worked on my deadlift and squat to pin point where pain was occurring and took preventative and corrective steps towards lowering that pain. Who knew that consciously activating my glutes and consciously thinking about my breathing would help reduce the pain. I walked away with very practical steps to improve my low back pain. This physical therapy clinic is the real deal!! Highly recommend, and would give more stars if I could! Thanks Dr. Hoskyn!
