The opportunity to witness the birth of a baby and be present on this monumental day is truly an honor. I believe that every woman who wants a doula should have a doula. My goal is to i

nspire and empower women to have the best childbirth experience possible. I am in the process of becoming a DONA certified birth doula (www.dona.org) and I am very excited to begin school in September 2017 become a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife).

Our Story

Hi, Carren here. I am a mother of four wonderful children. My first two children were born in Oregon at Birth Centers and my second two children were born right here Boise at St. Alphonsus. Although every birth was different, one thing is the same: it's a day I will remember forever. The opportunity to witness the birth of a baby and be present on this monumental day is truly an honor. My goal is to inspire and empower women to have the best childbirth experience possible. I am currently working towards a bachelor's in midwifery from the Midwives College of Utah and my CPM (Certified Profressional Midwife) license through North American Registry of Midwives (NARM).
