Shoutout to the Caldwell High School football team for scrubbing down one of our ambulances this weekend! 🚑💦

When we heard they were raising money for Children's Miracle Network, we couldn’t resist rolling through for a wash. A little soap, a lot of water fights, and one very shiny rig later — mission accomplished.

We like our ambulances fast, clean, and for a good cause. Thanks, Cougars — you crushed it!🧽💙

🚑 Canyon County Paramedics are seeking community support for a two-year, $7.98 million temporary levy on the May 20, 2025 ballot. This initiative aims to enhance emergency medical services in response to the county's growing population and increasing call volumes.

Key objectives of the levy include:

🚑 Rebuilding Station 41 in South Nampa
🚑 Constructing a new Station 55 in South Caldwell
🚑 Adding ambulances and hiring additional paramedics (the county is currently 18 paramedics short of being fully staffed)
🚑 Replacing outdated medical equipment, such as cardiac monitors and ventilators.

If approved, the levy would cost approximately $18.96 per $100,000 of assessed property value annually, totaling about $32.58 per year for a home valued at $300,000.

This temporary measure requires a simple majority to pass and is designed to address immediate needs in emergency medical services.
