Absolutely 💯 people should be able to choose how they have their baby. Families choose cesarean for many reasons including history of sexual trauma or history of birth trauma, cultural reasons, etc. Even if people choose cesarean “just because” their preference should be met with open minded curiosity, a thorough risk benefit conversation and support from their team.
