We're excited to share that Dr. Curtis Schreiber recently presented at a symposium during the 150th annual meeting of the American Neurological Association in Baltimore, Maryland! His lecture showcased exciting new treatments for Alzheimer's disease and shared experiences from the Missouri Memory Center at CMH.

The Missouri Memory Center at CMH was recently featured in the news for its work on a nationwide “real world” study of a new Alzheimer’s treatment. Preliminary results were presented at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference, the world’s largest gathering of dementia researchers and clinicians.

This new treatment helps bring hope to patients and families facing Alzheimer’s disease.

The Missouri Memory Center at CMH and the CMH Research Department recently contributed to a national “real world” study evaluating the Alzheimer’s treatment Leqembi® (lecanemab).

Preliminary findings, presented at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference in Toronto, show that results in everyday clinical practice are closely matching those seen in clinical trials—offering renewed hope for patients and families.

Missouri Memory Center was one of only 12 clinics in the U.S. chosen to participate. The study continues as researchers gather more data on the long-term impact of treatment.

Curtis P. Schreiber, M.D., attended and presented at the 2025 European Academy of Neurology (EAN) Congress, the European equivalent of the American Academy of Neurology. The conference was held June 21-24 in Helsinki, Finland. Dr. Schreiber presented on the “The Real-World Experience of Early Intervention in Alzheimer’s Disease.” - highlighting findings and clinical insights from the Missouri Memory Center at CMH. The conference drew more than 8,200 participants from 113 countries, bringing together global experts in neurology.
