In an effort to reduce workload and volunteer fatigue, we would like to explore creating a second board and separate baseball and softball. This would create two boards of about 8 people, instead of one. This is helpful for multiple reasons, the main two being-

1. Same number of board members managing half the number of players/families/fields- this will make the workload more manageable and prevent volunteer burnout.

2. Increased focus on program development- baseball and softball play in different leagues with lots of differences not only between the leagues but the sports in general. Separating the boards will make it easier for the boards to gear all decisions towards the betterment of that sport rather than trying to make a “one size fits all” type decision.

We have had several people complete our Google form with interest in joining our current board (THANK YOU), however, they are primarily softball parents. In order to separate, we need some baseball parents willing to take this on.

We would love to have enough volunteers to seat two full boards for the 2026 season where the two boards would work together and start the process of separation during the 2026 season then, ideally, be fully separated by the 2027 season.

Currently, as one board, we are sitting at 6 board members with 3 vacancies for the 2026 season (and nominations to be reviewed).

Please complete the form below if you are interested in volunteering. Please let us know if you are interested in helping more on the Baseball side or Softball side. it's that critical time of year when we, as a board, must reflect on the past season and plan for the future of our baseball and softball athletes. Frankly, without parents stepping up to join the board and elevate this program, it will suffer immensely, potentially leaving our kids without a program. We're at a crossroads with a couple of possible paths for the next season, but without immediate volunteer interest, we're forced towards less favorable options. Please urgently consider donating your time and skills by stepping up to join the board. Indicate which side you're interested in serving, as this will be crucial in deciding the most beneficial route for all players!

*Note: No specific sport knowledge is needed to join, though it can be helpful.

This past Friday, during his very first varsity football game one of our Tusky Valley freshman Mayson White, suffered a C4 fracture that has injured his spinal cord. This has left him paralyzed, and he and his amazing family are now facing life-changing challenges.

The Tusky Valley community is wrapping this young man and his family in love and support -but they need our help.
As his family adjusts to this new reality, they are preparing for extensive home renovations, and ongoing medical care to meet his needs.

If you are able, please consider donating to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

Please continue to keep him, his family, and the entire Tusky Valley community in your thoughts and prayers ♥️

🌿 HELP! 🌿 Our weeds on the fields have taken over due to the rather wet summer we've been having. We are asking for anyone and everyone to get all hands on deck and help us tackle getting our ball fields back to an acceptable state. If you have any free time, please please please stop by a field and hit a fence line or dugout. We are all doing our best and these fields take a literal village. No sign up sheet required! DM us if you have more specific questions!

We have immediate openings for baseball commissioner and field manager. Fill out the Google sheet to express interest.
