LucyLu is a Licensed Massage Therapist and expert Qigong Acupressure Therapist who offers a blend of Eastern and Western healing techniques. She has decades of experience and specializes in deep tissue massage, sports massage, and preventive therapies for both acute and chronic pain.

Growing up in Southern China, LucyLu was inspired by her family’s tradition of using acupressure and herbal remedies to support natural healing. Today, she combines her mastery of Chinese Tuina, Healing Qigong, Thai bodywork, and Swedish massage to help clients overcome even the toughest long-term pain conditions such as Migraines, Headaches, TMJ, Frozen Shoulder, Carpal Tunnel, Tennis Elbow, Sciatica pain, Chronic back pain, Knee pain, Allergies, Asthma, Anxiety, Depression, Digestive Disorders, Insomnia, Sleep Apnea, Myofascial Pain, PMS and many more.

A charming country day spa with a European flair

When we opened in 1998, we set out to offer quality treatments in a warm, caring and inviting environment where people could relax, unwind, heal, or just be.

A unique look and feel was created by hiring local artists to paint watercolors and murals. Experts in Finland built a log cabin sauna to our design and an outdoor whirlpool bath was added to the back deck. Both are open year-round.

Over the years we have grown and attracted some of the best and most talented people in the area. Their collective experiences and dedication are what make Essential Therapies Day Spa a truly special place.
