The field needs tending. So do you.

Tending the Field: Tools for Caregivers & Healers is returning to Boketto this May — and if you spend your days holding space for others, this one is for you.

This is a two-hour, hands-on workshop rooted in foundational practices of Craniosacral therapy and energy medicine. You’ll leave with practical tools you can actually use — for grounding yourself in real time, maintaining energetic boundaries, and building the capacity to stay present without burning out.

Caregiving is sacred work — and it asks a lot of us.

This workshop is an invitation to tend your own field — to resource, ground, and reconnect to yourself so that the care you offer flows from a place of depth, not depletion.

We’ll move through somatic practices, intuitive tools, and simple, embodied ways to come home to yourself — especially when the weight of holding others is heavy.

Whether you care for children, elders, patients, students, or the people in your community, this space is for you.

Sunday’s Equinox ceremony at Boketto was so special.
Gratitude to the beautiful group who gathered — to honor the turning, to open to receiving, to share from the heart.
Every cup emptied. Every flame tended. Every prayer made together.
Community. Medicine. Magic. 🕯️🌱

Today is the new moon in Pisces — the last sign of the zodiac. The great exhale before the wheel turns.
In two days, the sun moves into Aries and the equinox arrives. The astrological new year. The first breath.
We are right in the threshold — between resting down and the first stirrings. Between what winter held beneath the soil and what spring is unfurling at the surface to meet the light.
This is the portal. The hinge of the season. The moment the earth pauses and tips toward the light.
We mark it together on March 22nd at Boketto — with cacao ceremony, and the practice of tending the flame.
Two tickets remain.
If this has been calling you — this is it.

Before every session, I ask my clients to set an intention.
Not because it’s ritual for ritual’s sake — but because intention setting is about tuning into your being and settling into alignment. It is simple. It is profound. And it becomes exponentially more powerful when you invoke it in the presence of fire.
This is what you’re taking home from the Spring Equinox ceremony.
A candle you dressed with your own hands — anointed, charged, and ready to set in motion. A practice that transmutes energetic interference. A ritual that strengthens intuition and supports coherence. Whenever you need to return to yourself.
Come learn the practice. Make it your own. Let the flame meet you where you are—

Come tend the flame with me — March 22nd at Boketto.
The Spring Equinox is the moment the light and dark are equal again after winter. And then the light begins to grow.
Every culture that has ever watched the sky has marked this crossing. Because something in the body already knows. To stand still for one moment before moving forward. To witness the turning as we lean into it.
This is what ceremony is for —
A pause. A breath. An invitation into alignment. A threshold you meet with intention.

My first cup of ceremonial cacao was offered to me by my teacher — a Yatiri in the Aymara tradition — harvested and prepared by her own hands.
It came at the end of a traditional miskimesa ceremony. You fast. You pray. You make offerings on your knees for hours. There is divination with leaves, and with smoke. It is strenuous — intentionally so. By the end, your etheric body has been lifted far from your physical one.
And then the cacao comes.
Prepared especially for that moment — to bridge what has been teased apart, fluffed up, and reattuned. To call you back into your body. It is like the river of lifeblood that flows between you and Pachamama. It comes alive in you in a way that is almost psychedelic — blessing your heart with joy.
A medicine much needed in these times.
This is what I mean when I say ceremonial cacao. Not a trend. Not a wellness ritual. A living medicine, rooted in lineage, offered with knowledge and love.
On March 22nd at Boketto, I will prepare and offer ceremonial cacao as we open our Spring Equinox gathering together.

What place does ceremony hold in your life?
For many of us, it’s been lost — or was never passed down. And yet something in us remembers. Ceremony is biodynamic attunement — a way of orienting ourselves to the living rhythms of the earth, honoring her cycles, and recognizing the moment we find ourselves in within them.
March 22 is an invitation back to that.
On this day I am offering a special teaching found among many ancient earth-based traditions from around the world: the practice of working with fire as a portal to the spirit world. This practice is rooted in my own spiritual lineage and training in the Aymara tradition of Andino-America.
We will open with ceremonial cacao, and I will guide you through the candle dressing practice — a living ritual that prepares us to celebrate our resilience, set intentions with clarity, and receive the health and healing available to us when we arrive with an open heart.
This Spring Equinox, I invite you to join me in this genuine offering.

What are you calling in this spring? And what are you ready to let go?
I am calling in health, friendship, family, community of care — prosperity, wisdom, wholeness, creativity. Longevity, vitality, rest, flexibility, strength, and wits, to help me show up through these changing times.
I am releasing self-sabotage, hiding, holding onto hurt, being frozen — the need to know, the need to be right. Closing my heart off to others. Closing off to my spirit.
I am calling in all this and more with you this spring — and I want to know what you are calling in, and what you are letting go.
Join me this equinox for a very special ceremony to honor balance, duality, wholeness — the cycles, the season to rise. Like tree sap, from the roots to the shoots.

Cacao — in its raw, ceremonial form — has been understood as a sacred heart-opener by Mayan, Aztec, Amazonian, and Andean peoples for thousands of years. And modern biochemistry is catching up to what indigenous wisdom already knew.
Here is what’s actually happening in your body when you drink ceremonial cacao:
Theobromine — cacao’s primary active compound — gently dilates your blood vessels and increases blood flow to your heart and brain. Unlike caffeine, it doesn’t spike cortisol. It opens you, slowly and steadily, for hours.
Anandamide — named from the Sanskrit word for bliss — is a naturally occurring compound in cacao that promotes joy and ease. It’s often called the bliss molecule.
Phenylethylamine (PEA) is associated with feelings of love and connection. It’s the same compound your brain releases when you fall in love.
Magnesium supports nervous system regulation — something most of us are chronically deficient in.
MAO inhibitors in raw cacao allow all of these mood-elevating compounds to remain active in your body longer than they otherwise would.
This is why cacao ceremony doesn’t feel like a supplement or a stimulant. It feels like coming home to yourself.
