It feels like we blinked, and suddenly the end of 2025 is here.

And what a year it has been at Meadow View! Certainly one worth looking back on, full of joyful and heartwarming moments.

1. Our wonderful visit with talented middle school students who filled the morning with music, dance routines, and effortless conversation.

2. The sweet chaos of pet visits that never fail to brighten the day and bring smiles to every corner of our home.

3. Baking together more times than we can count, because one batch of cookies is simply never enough, especially during the cozier months.

4. Gathering for church services that offered comfort, reflection and a sense of calm.

5. & 6. Enjoying fresh air on our cozy sun patio and tending to the garden and birds, which always brings a little peace and purpose.

7. Laughing our way through bingo or game sessions that brought the right mix of camaraderie and competition.

8. Settling in for our favorite movie nights, always a hit with our residents.

9. Sipping margarita mocktails with delicious tacos, because fun themed days deserve their own spot in the highlights.

10. Filling quiet afternoons with puzzles, arts and crafts that sparked creativity, boosted memory, and made our time together even more special while honing our residents’ cognitive and motor skills.

The holidays always feel a little brighter when shared with the right people.

And this season at Meadow View has been full of those moments.

We enjoyed Christmas tree decorating, holiday crafts, familiar carols, cookies fresh from the oven, holiday mani and pedi sessions, and sweet visits from our furry pets in festive outfits.

Every one of these activities gave our residents the opportunity to practice their skills, support their wellbeing, and most importantly, brought the kind of laughter and joy that reminds you you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

To our residents, thank you for filling our home with so much kindness, friendship, and joy. To our families, thank you for trusting us and for being such an important part of our community. And to our incredible caregivers, thank you for showing up every day with heart, patience, and the kind of care that turns an assisted living facility into a place to truly belong.

Christmas is certainly the most magical time of the year. And pets? Absolute cuteness! So we highly doubt there’s anything sweeter than a furry friend in a Christmas outfit!

If you followed us in December, you know we had so many wonderful activities and traditions this season, but honestly… This recent Christmas pet visit might have stolen the show. 🐾🎄
