Camping season is coming soon! Our first outing will be in the Shawano area, this is also our Annual Fundraising Rummage Sale and Brat Fry. All proceeds are donated to Shawano area non profit organizations. Last year proceeds benefited Shawano Humane Society, Safe Haven, St Martins church food pantry, St Paul Church food pantry to name a few. The flyer will be posted soon. Stop by and say hello

Great Northern Campground in Gleason WI. This was a group event with campers around the state of WI. We are planning another camp out in 2025 details to be finalized by October looking at sites in Northern WI. All are welcome. Tents, campers, large units however you enjoy camping. Great time this year, good to see everyone. Safe travels for the rest of your camping season

The Shawano Area campers had a great time at the rally in Chippewa Falls this past week. Some sad news as Director Bob and Marlene Ruh have decided to retire from Good Sam.
It was voted in by attending groups to have the Shawano Area Campers take over and we have changed the Wisconsin Good Sam RV group name to the WISCONSIN CAMPING FRIENDS, so please join our page and let’s have a great time!

While attending the rally was also the Ruh’s 61st wedding anniversary and we took them out to celebrate at the Wissota Chophouse in Chippewa Falls and had a great time!

The Rummage Sale/Brat fry and bake sale this past weekend was a success! Thank you to everyone that came and donated their time. We raised over $1500.00 for local charities THANK YOU AGAIN AND WATCH FOR OUR SALE IN 2023 always the 1st weekend in May

Hello, SHAWANO AREA CAMPERS!!! Just a reminder October 4th and 5th is our last group campout for the 2019 season. It will take place at St. James Retreat....we will be voting on next years camping options, and I believe we have elections also. Please try to attend. See ya in 2 weeks!

Hello SAC friends! I just wanted to remind you that this Friday is our PINEGROVE campground weekend....the campground has themed it "CHRISTMAS IN JULY"....we will be having a WHITE ELEPHANT CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE ALONG WITH THE BIRTHDAY DRAWING....so anyone that wants to participate must bring a wrapped gift no more than $5. Bring your outside decorations and let's deck the halls (campers)......
