Earlier this month, we celebrated Legend Bank's renewal of their support of the Senior Crimestoppers program at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home.

Our residents were educated on the Senior Crimestoppers program, enjoyed refreshments, played Fraud Prevention Bingo, and won some great prizes!

On Sunday night, a tornado warning was issued for Bonham as strong storms moved through the area. Following the storms, many were without electricity, including our home. Thankfully, we have a generator, which began working immediately.

On Monday, the electricity hadn’t been restored, so Oncor delivered a generator to us, which meant that we had two generators on site and our building was able to function at 100% (freezers, HVAC system, etc).

Oncor provided the diesel for the generator and around the clock service. On Tuesday morning, Oncor notified our home that the electricity had been restored. Oncor disconnected their generator and reconnected us to the city’s electrical supply.

Thank you so much to Oncor and their team for assisting us during this critical situation. We deeply appreciate your time and hard work!
