Please join us in praying for the family of Brett Wilson Jr, husband to DMH's long time nurse Charley Wilson, upon Brett's passing to be with the Lord. Funeral arrangements are visitation: Sunday 9/7/2025 from 5pm to 7pm and Funeral Service: Monday 9/8/2025 at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church of Bonifay.

BRETT FREDRICK WILSON JR.

Mr. Brett Fredrick Wilson Jr., age 34, of Bonifay, Florida went to be with the Lord September 4, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born October 3, 1990, in Tallahassee , Florida. Brett was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry and Margaret Pafford.

Brett wanted his passing to be more than an ending–he wanted it to be a testimony to the Lord, a reminder of God’s faithfulness and the promise of eternal life.

Brett is survived by his wife of 12 years, Charley Wilson and their three children, Liam Wilson, Laina Wilson, and Livia Wilson all of Bonifay, FL; his parents, Brett and Deonna Wilson of Bonifay, FL; two brothers, Chad Wilson and Corey Wilson both of Bonifay, FL; nephew and nieces, Noah Wilson, Jeslynn Wilson, and Kayelynn Wilson; paternal grandparents, Gloria and Edgar Chattin of Wakulla, FL and Ray and Donna Wilson of Bonifay, FL; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mark and Holly Arno of Quincy, FL; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, September 8, 2025, at First Baptist Bonifay. Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday, September 7, 2025, at First Baptist Bonifay.

As Hospital Week comes to an end, we wanted to share some of the fun we had and memories we made. We truly have the best staff. We have enjoyed getting to appreciate each other and look forward to continuing to grow together.
