Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Green makes me think of ‘summer is coming, and I’m so ready to get my garden on!’ I’m gearing up for my new garden in S. Carolina (17 raised beds, here I come!). I’ll be growing all sorts of food, herbs, and medicinal plants, and hopefully, it will all be successful. My summer bucket list includes teaching classes, chatting with some Compounding Pharmacies, and sharing my products with you (I’ve got something new (Corydalis, blending in the lab!). Stay tuned!

Hi Friends! I'm still in awe of the incredible journey I've been on since relocating my summer garden home to Summerville, SC, during 2024. It's been a ‘busy’ experience, and I'm grateful for the love and support from my loved ones that's helped me every step of the way. From packing up the Arkansas house to setting up my new garden and apothecary, it's been a true labor of love. Although business may have slowed down, I've continued to work on online orders and partner with boutiques in Florida. Now, I'm looking forward to spending six months in Summerville, SC, (May-Oct.) and diving back into gardening. This time around, I'll be using raised metal beds, and I'm excited to share my journey with you. Be sure to stay tuned for updates on my garden's progress and what I’ve got growing this year. Stay tuned and stay in touch!👩🏼‍🌾🪴

I don’t know what the ‘after’ photo will look like just yet.. yesterday I stood in this little room and had a conversation with me. ‘Well- what are you going to do about Flower Power Labs ? Want to continue? You do? Well- get your SC Business License, get unpacked, get organized, do your research, figure it out, get ‘er going girl..’
Sat down to apply for the Business License.. website said 7-10 days. I know I need to go to Florida to get my oils and other base ingredients, and I know I need a place to bring them ’home’ to. As always, I’ll figure it out as I go..
I didn’t expect to receive my Business License a few hours later lol.

Nobody loves the process of moving, but sometimes it has to be done. Saying my good byes to local family, neighbors and friends weigh on my heart, gleaning and caring for my precious garden pinches my heart, and loading box after box of household belongings makes my heart work a little harder. Sometimes life changes sneak up on you and you have to grab it’s tail, hold on, and see what the next chapter will be. This is what I know: never say ‘I’ll never fall in love again’, never say, ‘this is the last time I am moving!’, and never say, ‘I can’t, it’s too difficult, I am too tired’.
Flower Power Labs will still be based in SW Florida, and I will be starting an additional business again near Charleston SC. I will be rebuilding my garden, reworking my business plans, spending more time enjoying a romance and most importantly, being a part of my grandchildren’s young lives. Life is short, gotta live it to the fullest!
If you have been following this page, I hope you will still check in to see the changes, don’t hesitate to message me (I will still be making and shipping products), posting garden and product updates, and will begin teaching classes in the Fall.
Hugs to you all.

Y’all- I say Amen! to this quote. And I encourage you to consider signing up and taking a listen to this series. (I love The Sacred Science series!). The trick is to listen to each presentation within 24 hours to get it for free. Learning herbal medicine is a slow process for me but so valuable as well. We have medicines growing at our feet, in our gardens and ‘over yonder that river’. Rather than watch tv for the last 4 years, I self educate as best I can. There’s so much to learn, but we can lean on each other and share the work.
Hugs to you all-

My friend, Nick Polizzi, and the team at The Sacred Science have created an informative and exciting documentary series about the miraculous healing power of herbs and how we can each sustainably thrive in a toxic modern world.

This transformative documentary explores the most powerful herbal medicines known to man – the cumulative work of at least a thousand generations of our human ancestors. This is how humanity survived and thrived in the most challenging conditions imaginable: ice age, drought, plague, famine, and worse.

lol. My ‘sister spirit’. 🤣
Update on my transitions: it’s the calm before the storm for the next 10 days. I am making a few small batch products to carry with me in my travels the next few months as I wander Florida- S. Carolina-Indiana-Arkansas-S. Carolina. Whew!
Have gotten a new fence up on S.Carolina property so I can begin my gardening plans, will be looking for my garden helper, and ‘strong back’ as I had in Arkansas to help me create my garden dream and future Flower Power goals. I hoped to be moved from Arkansas to S. Carolina by the end of June.
Arkansas friends: I am looking for Lavender, Elderberry plant starts to take with me. Nurseries tell me they don’t get these plants yet they will grow there (SC).
Happy Naked Gardening Day!

April 12, 2024
Hey Friends, I know it’s been quiet here, but I’ve been busy, busy busy! You may recall when I said, ‘Stay tuned for changes in the Lab’? I will be relocating my ‘lab’, aka my garden and business from Fayetteville Arkansas to Summerville South Carolina this summer. Initially, it was a tough decision as my thoughts focused on the beautiful organic garden my gardener (Caleb) and I created. The creative touches I was able to utilize, the ability to grow whatever I wanted in the beautiful organic beds, wild flowers for the birds and the bees, flowers and herbs for medicines and culinary uses, and lots of tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onions and elderberries.
Life changes can happen unexpectedly sometimes and at times they are blessings that need to be recognized and held onto.
I have been busy house hunting this winter and making that purchase. After 3 months of intense searching I found the perfect place for Flower Power Labs! In June, I will be in Fayetteville AR to pack and ship my things to South Carolina. I know it will take me a few years to rebuild another garden, but the joy will be in once again using my creative soul to build a perfect garden not only for Flower Power Labs, but also for my 2 grand babies who live in the area. I can already envision a hands on, exploratory garden for young children - my grandchildren.
I will be maintaining my Florida residence, Florida business licenses etc. so I can continue to make products for you as time permits during the summer. I expect to be settled to do ‘Lab work -projects’ and by August, back on track for normal business. Currently, I have a few stores working with me, and I will be teaching classes in the Fall in my Florida community. (2 locations thus far)
Flower Power Labs will keep you posted on progress of this new adventure, new products, new garden, and new life so ‘Stay Tuned!’
