5️⃣ things you won’t find in my house: from a pediatric chiropractor 💜
🚫 Bumbo seats or forced positions/containers.
Babies thrive when they can move freely. Floor time helps build strength, coordination, and natural motor patterns that containers can unintentionally limit.
🚫Letting baby “cry it out”.
I focus on supporting regulation, not suppressing it. Babies communicate through crying, and responding builds trust, safety, and healthy nervous system patterns.
🚫Walkers & jumpers.
These items place babies in positions their bodies aren’t developmentally ready for, which can create compensations and delay natural milestones like crawling and pulling to stand.
🚫Rushing solids before signs of readiness.
Every baby hits this milestone at their own pace. Waiting for cues like sitting up unsupported, good head control, and an interest in food before introducing solids.
🚫Ignoring constipation or frequent spit-up.
These are signs that a baby’s body might need support: digestion, tension patterns, feeding mechanics, or nervous system regulation. Small symptoms matter.
✨Supporting your baby’s development starts with everyday choices that protect their body, their milestones, and their nervous system ✨
