🌧️ We faced a little challenge when our BUNCO sign blew away during the recent windy rain storms! But who needs a handyman when you have the amazing SWC JoLynn and Robin? 💪✨

They tackled the slope and hung the sign just in time for our BUNCO afternoon on Tuesday! 🎲🙌

Shoutout to these two for their determination in tackling the slope! It was slippery and damp Can’t wait to see everyone at BUNCO! 🥳

🌟 **Gratitude Post** 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to all the incredible SWC women who spent yesterday delivering bags of donated clothing and blankets to various nonprofits!

Today marked the final distribution: Coordinator Jean Chene delivered several bags again to New Day Ministries and Sherri Hobson delivered several bags, backpacks, and suitcase contained donated clothing to the Ladle Project (helping homeless) at First Presbyterian Church Downtown. It's truly amazing to see what can be accomplished when we come together for a great cause! 💖👏

🌟 **It Takes a Village!** 🌟

We’re thrilled to share that our recent community clothes drive was a tremendous success! Together, we collected over 80 bags of clothing for children, teenagers, men, and women, along with 10 bags of blankets. A special shoutout to Jean Chenefor organizing this impactful event for Sweetwater Woman’s Club!

These donations have been given to several local groups, including New Day Urban Ministeries and Victory Resource Center and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our amazing and dedicated members and the wider community. Your generous contributions truly make a difference! ❤️✨

New Day Urban Ministries restores lives by equipping those in need to move forward with hope by providing essential services to the homeless, urban poor, veterans and those recently released from prison in a safe, home-like setting where people are treated with dignity, respect and compassion.

Victory Resource Center exists to make a positive impact on the Chula Vista community by providing resources for local women, families and babies. We provide resources and support in a caring, non-judgmental atmosphere, and help families through the challenges of pregnancy and early-childhood parenting.

🌟 **Sweetwater Woman’s Club Supports Adrian’s Way!** 🌟

We are proud to share that a portion of the bags collected during our Clothing Drive was donated to Adrian’s Way. SWC Member Gloria Pickel shown in blue is actively involved with Adrian’s Way. This incredible initiative operates a pantry at Sweetwater High School, providing essential items to students in need.

At Adrian’s Way, students can discreetly pick up food, clothing, hygiene products, and other necessities, ensuring they have access to vital resources without any stigma.

By partnering with organizations like Adrian’s Way, we can make a significant impact in our community, supporting our students and helping them thrive. Thank you to all our members and donors for your generosity! Together, we are making a difference! ❤️✨

🌟 **Sweetwater Woman’s Club Update** 🌟

We are thrilled to highlight the outstanding work of our Hospitality Committee, who play a vital role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our monthly General Meetings where our members bring homemade goodies for our luncheon. For January, the Committee embraced the theme of Feng Shui, aiming to cultivate a serene and harmonious environment as we begin the new year! The committee thoughtfully incorporated this theme into the setup, utilizing calming color schemes, natural elements, and organized arrangements to reflect the principles of Feng Shui. Thank you Katherine Howard, Hospitality Chair, and her January committee!
