Your brain and body are always talking. When you feel foggy, distracted, or tense, it’s usually a signal from your nervous system that something needs to shift.
Here are 3 simple but powerful moves to reset your brain + body in just a few minutes—no equipment, no stress:
1. Quick Eye Shifts (Saccades)
Your eyes are directly wired to your brain. By moving them quickly between two points (left-right or up-down), you stimulate key brain areas tied to focus, coordination, and alertness.
Try 10 shifts each direction. Keep your head still and breathe naturally.
2. Cross-Body Balance Reach
This move challenges your balance while crossing the midline, which activates both brain hemispheres and improves proprioception (your sense of body awareness).
Stand on one leg and reach across your body with the opposite hand. Go slow. 5 reps per side.
3. Neck Mobility Circles
The neck holds a lot of tension—physically and neurologically. Gentle circles stimulate the vestibular system, which helps calm your fight-or-flight response and improve spatial awareness.
Draw slow, smooth circles with your nose. 2 each direction.
You don’t need to “work out” to reset.
You just need a few moments to connect, regulate, and breathe.
Save this and try it the next time life feels a little too much.
