🧠 Stretching vs. Warming Up — Know the Difference! 💪

A lot of people use these terms interchangeably, but they’re not the same — and knowing the difference can help prevent injury and improve performance.

🔥 Warming Up
• Raises your heart rate
• Increases blood flow to muscles
• Prepares your body for movement
• Examples: brisk walking, light jogging, arm circles, dynamic movements

🤸 Stretching
• Improves flexibility and range of motion
• Lengthens muscles
• Best done after your workout or when muscles are warm
• Examples: hamstring stretch, quad stretch, calf stretch

👉 Quick tip:
Warm up before exercise to get your body ready.
Stretch after to help with recovery and flexibility.

✨ New Year. New Goals. Better Movement. ✨

A new year is the perfect time to recommit to your health and fitness goals 💪 Whether you’re aiming to get stronger, move better, or return to the activities you love, remember this:

👉 Correct form matters more than heavy weights or high reps.
Moving well helps prevent injuries, improves results, and keeps you consistent long term.

At Potential Therapy, we believe fitness should be safe, effective, and sustainable. Our physical therapists focus on proper movement patterns, strength, mobility, and injury prevention—so you can reach your goals with confidence.

🎯 This year, set goals that prioritize:
✔️ Quality movement
✔️ Injury prevention
✔️ Long-term strength and mobility

If pain, old injuries, or uncertainty about form are holding you back, we’re here to help. Let’s make 2026 the year you move better and feel stronger!

🏃‍♂️✨ Movement & Running Assessments – Move Better, Feel Better! ✨🏃‍♀️

Our Movement and Running Assessments use advanced wearable sensor technology to analyze how your body moves in real time. Small wireless sensors track posture, joint motion, and muscle activity during everyday movements like walking, bending, lifting—and especially running.

This allows us to collect objective data that the eye alone can’t see, helping identify:
✅ Muscle imbalances
✅ Inefficient movement patterns
✅ Running form issues
✅ Potential injury risks

Whether you're returning from an injury, wanting to run faster and stronger, or simply trying to stay pain-free, these assessments help guide smarter treatment and training decisions. We also track your progress over time so you can clearly see your improvements.

👟 Running Assessments – Ideal for beginners, seasoned runners, and athletes
🚶 General Movement Assessments – Great for everyday aches, posture issues, and injury prevention
👶👩‍🦳 Suitable for all ages
💰 Assessment Cost: $150
