Our Story
Dr. Lauren McIntyre Hunt is a 2015 graduate from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. While at Logan, Dr. Lauren received the degrees: Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic. She opened her own practice in Bonne Terre, MO providing chiropractic care for the entire family with a specialization in pregnancy and pediatrics. Dr. Lauren is a participating member of the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) and is a certified Webster Technique practitioner. Dr. Lauren also serves our military veterans and is a provider for VA.
Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that reduces interference to the nervous system and balances maternal pelvis muscles and ligaments. This optimizes uterine function allowing the baby to achieve a head down position which allows for a safer, easier birth for both mother and baby.
The nervous system controls every aspect of the body from the respiratory system to the immune system, digestive, circulatory and hormonal systems. If there is any misalignment in the spine causing interference within the nervous system it can affect you and/or your child's health. Colic, breathing difficulties, nursing difficulties, sleep disturbances, allergies, chronic ear infections can all be a result of stress within the nervous system.
