Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer.

It is a day set aside to mourn and honor the U.S. military men and women who gave their lives while serving our country.

As we enjoy time with family, friends, cookouts, ballgames, and the beginning of summer, we ask everyone to take a moment to remember the true meaning of this day.

At 3:00 p.m. local time, we will be participating in the National Moment of Remembrance — a symbolic act of unity where Americans pause to honor those who died in the pursuit of freedom and peace.

Whether you are at home, at work, on the water, at a gathering, or simply going about your day, we invite you to stop for one minute at 3:00 p.m. and remember the brave men and women who never made it home.

Their sacrifice is the reason we are free to gather, celebrate, and live in peace.
