As many of you know, Dr. Dan Reiter has not practiced since July 2024 following a stroke. We are deeply grateful for his dedication over the years and for the incredible support of Dr. James Parish, which has allowed Reiter Chiropractic to remain open.

Over the last few months, our priority has been to find a skilled chiropractor to continue Dr. Reiter’s legacy, and we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Kathryn Bateman to Bonne Terre Chiropractic!

Dr. Bateman, a 2021 graduate of Logan University, brings a wealth of knowledge with expertise in Diversified chiropractic techniques, acupuncture, and meridian therapy, along with advanced training in pregnancy and pediatric care.

She is passionate about staying up to date with the latest research and loves educating her patients on how to take control of their health.

When not in the office, Dr. Bateman enjoys spending time with her family—husband Rob, daughters Saoirse and Lilliana, and their dog Mali—exploring new parks, gardening, boating, and brewing kombucha.

After 45 years as a chiropractor, Dr. Daniel O. Reiter will officially retire on February 28, 2025. For the past 43 years, he has proudly served the St. Francois County area, dedicating his career to improving the health and well-being of his patients.

Please join us in thanking Dr. Reiter for his dedication, compassion, and exceptional care. His impact on our community is immeasurable, and he will be greatly missed!

Thanks to one of our younger patients who brought her stuffed giraffe in for an adjustment today, we learned that giraffes have the same number of vertebrae in the neck as humans do (7). All of us, including Dr. Parish, were quite surprised to learn this.

Disclaimer: Please do not bring your pet giraffe in for an adjustment. We only treat humans here. 😀
