What happens during a chemical peel?
I will cleanse your skin and apply an acid solution to help it exfoliate a little deeper than a physical method would reach. We can layer or combine exfoliants to customize and reach your specific goals. We’ll also talk about expectations and aftercare.

How does exfoliating help?
By increasing the skin’s cell turnover rate, new undamaged skin cells make their way to the surface quicker. In doing so, fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots can be reduced. Breakouts can be cleared and texture or acne scarring, smoothed.

It’s not just your muscles that hurt. Massage can be a natural option for relief from muscular and fascial pain.

Fascia is a thin layer of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. The tissue does more than give internal structure; fascia has nerves that make it almost as sensitive as skin. It’s intended to stretch as you move but certain things can cause it to tighten around muscles. This limits mobility and can cause painful “knots.”

Typical culprits:
•too little movement
•repetitive movement
•trauma/injury

Massage and stretching can help loosen the tight tissue; easing pain.
