Way to go Braves!
The Bonner Springs Braves stayed unbeaten Wednesday night, defeating Piper 78-62 to improve to 18-0 on the season. Sophomore Jaiden Jones led the way with 30 points and 10 rebounds, continuing his breakout campaign. Senior guard Nate Ferrell added 20 points, knocking down several clutch three-pointers down the stretch, while senior Kelan Gruver recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists. Defense set the tone for the Braves, with junior guard Prince Donnell serving as the engine on that end of the floor. Ranked No. 3 in 5A, Bonner Springs won’t have much time to rest, as the Braves host No. 10-ranked 4A Ottawa in another tough matchup tonight.
