Meet our intern!

"Hi, my name is Sasha Swift-Scanlan, and I am a Public Health major at Appalachian State University. I chose public health because it goes beyond individual care and focuses on the health and well-being of entire communities. I believe it’s important to support and serve communities, not just focus on one person’s health at a time. After graduation, I hope to attend nursing school within the next couple of years so I can continue working hands-on in healthcare while applying a strong public-health perspective."
