Join us for an enlightening evening of guided meditation, kirtan and ancient yoga wisdom every Thursday evening from 6 to 7:15 p.m. at 3rd Place, 132 Appalachian St. (just off King St. in downtown Boone.) Meditation and kirtan help bring us the inner peace, happiness and spiritual insight we need to live a healthier, happier life. The ancient wisdom of yoga offers a unique and refreshing view on how to tackle modern day issues we all face in life as individuals and as a society.
For a little background about myself, I've been practicing and teaching yoga philosophy, yoga asanas, individual meditation and kirtan (group meditation with chanting) for over 22 years. The profound benefits that I have personally experienced have motivated me to do my best to share these ancient, non-sectarian spiritual practices and wisdom with our community at no charge.
