🌮❤️ Thank You, El Viejo! ❤️🌮

We are incredibly grateful to El viejo mexican restaurant in Boone for their generosity during Mexican Mondays in December. Thanks to their support — and to everyone who dined in each Monday — $1,250 was donated to the Boone County Hospital Foundation in support of our Fund-A-Need: Ambulance Project.

This partnership is a perfect example of how local businesses and our community come together to make a real difference. Every meal enjoyed helped us put a new ambulance on the road for Boone County.

This recognition speaks volumes about the incredible work being done to improve mental health for seniors in our community. Congratulations to our dedicated team behind Senior Life Solutions!

Boone County Hospital’s Senior Life Solutions, has been named the 2025 One Track Program of the Year, by Psychiatric Medical Care, which manages the program.

Boone County Hospital’s Senior Life Solutions program supports the unique needs of individuals, typically 65 and older, experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief and other mental health challenges that are often associated with aging. Senior Life Solutions program staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, a nurse practitioner, a licensed therapist, a registered nurse, and other trained professionals to ensure each patient receives the best possible care.
