Oh no! You have a beautiful themed lesson plan and your book doesn't have ANY words with the sound you are targeting!
I've found that this is the perfect opportunity to work on auditory discrimination - asking the child "does this word have your 'LLL' sound?" No! "What about this word?"
Auditory discrimination is a really important component of phonological awareness. This helps our children working on articulation skills as well as supports their pre reading abilities. For auditory discrimination, we are asking the child to LISTEN for their sound when you SAY the word - they are not reading the written word or looking for a written letter.
Give this a try in your next articulation and phonology sessions!
