We’ve heard it too! Let’s clear up a common myth:

MYTH: “You can get the flu from the flu shot.”
TRUTH: You can’t. The flu shot is made from inactive virus, so there's nothing in the vaccine that can cause the flu. It does help your body build protection so that if you do come across the real thing, you're ready for it.

Some people feel a little achy or tired after getting vaccinated, but that’s just your immune system doing its job.

Meet Rebekah Wright, one of our incredible Case Management Registered Nurses at Hopscotch Primary Care Marion!

Rebekah has been a Registered Nurse for 6 years and in healthcare for 18! She’s a proud wife and mom to "two under two."

As a CMRN, Rebekah helps guide patients through every step of their care journey. She works closely with our care team and providers to make sure our patients feel supported, informed, and cared for (especially during big transitions like hospital discharges).
