Hey friends! 💛

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here — life has been a little busy lately! I wanted to hop on and share a quick update.

For those of you who have been asking about my mom — she had her last radiation appointment on Friday! 🙌 She’s doing well and very relieved to be finished with treatment.

I also just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shown my family and me support, love, grace, and prayers over the past several months. Your kindness and patience have truly meant so much to us. 💛

Now for a work update (you knew it was coming 😄) We will be out of the office the last week of May for a little adventure to the Pacific Northwest! Yes, we’re driving… yes, we’re taking the dogs… and yes, we might be a little crazy 😂 But as you can imagine, it’s quite the trek to Washington.

We will be closing a little early on Thursday, May 21st and will return to the office on Monday, June 1st. Just something to keep in mind when scheduling your appointments!

Hello, patients! 💛✨

I wanted to hop on and share a quick life update - it’s been a while. This past month has been a lot to process and honestly, a bit overwhelming.

As some of you know, at the beginning of October my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I don’t want to share details publicly, but while everything feels uncertain, we and her providers remain hopeful. 💪💖 She’s scheduled for surgery in December and will begin additional treatment afterward.

I also want to say - I’m doing okay. ❤️ Some days are harder than others, but I’m staying grounded, and taking things one step at a time.

Because of all the unknowns ahead, there will be times I need to step away from the office sometimes unexpectedly to attend appointments or be with my mom. I may also not be as quick to respond outside of office hours as I usually am.

For my clients who like to pre-schedule (which I so appreciate and encourage! 🙌), please know that if I need to adjust any appointments, I’ll reach out to you right away.

To my regulars: I appreciate you all so much and am incredibly grateful for your continued support. Please know that if I do have to adjust any of your appointments, it’s only because my focus right now is on helping my parents navigate this new chapter of life. 💞

To everyone who has shown kindness whether you’ve checked in, prayed for my family, shared your survivor stories, or simply offered a hug or listening ear thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love and compassion mean more to me than you’ll ever know. 🤍

For those who see both Dr. Nathan and me, please be patient with him when I’m out of the office. It takes a lot to manage the office and see patients as a one-man show.

The office is closed from Monday, August 4th through Thursday, August 7th while we trade desks for mountain views, fresh air, and maybe a few s'mores 🔥😄

Holy guacamole! I can’t believe it’s been a decade, 10 years, today since I became a licensed massage therapist! What a journey it has been. Over the past decade, I’ve learned so much about the body’s incredible ability to heal. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some amazing therapists, and that path eventually led me to work full-time at the office with Dr.Nathan.

I've gotten to meet so many different people from all walks of life during my time in Davenport, Ames, and Boone.

Whether you’ve been on my table once or weekely, thank you!
