Tony started Boone Rehabilitation Services in 1986 with partner, Tom. Tom has since retired but Tony is still in clinic 4 days a week.

Tony specializes in TMJ and jaw pain. Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction can be a very complicated dysfunction. It involved the jaw joints and many times includes the neck. A thorough evaluation helps define the origin of the pain. The treatment goal is improving posture, returning flexibility to normal levels and decreasing pain.

We enjoy having Dr. Paulson at B*H!

Our Occupational Therpaist, Emily, works very closely with Dr. Paulson. This enhances patient care and allows for the two providers and patient to be heavily involved from office visit to graduating rehab!

Physical Therapy helps improve patient's strength, balance, endurance and flexibility to achieve maximum possible independence. Physical therapists and assistants work with a wide range of diagnoses and injuries. They utilize the highest quality of equipment available for patient care.

Boone Rehabilitation Services offers many specialty services. Carolyn and Rebecca have taken additional education to support our patients with Pelvic Floor Therapy. Each appointment is based off of patient comfort level.

Incontinence and other pelvic floor dysfunctions can occur at any age and for many different reasons. However, most of the time you can retrain your bladder and bowels.

In physical therapy, Rebecca and/or Carolyn can treat::
Urinary/fecal incontinence
F***l constipation
Pelvic pain
Dyspareunia
Pudendal neuralgia
Interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome
Pelvic prolapse

Dakota, our Athletic Trainer, is housed in Boone and Ogden high schools. He works with student athletes, coaches and athletic directors in both schools to ensure safe techniques are used during practices and games.

"Boone Community Schools is very lucky to have Dakota. He isn't just a trainer, but a teacher. Earlier this year, the boys track team was struggling with shin splints. I went to Dakota and asked if he could lead stretches that specifically incorporated a track teams needs. The next day, he arrived to practice early and ready to help! As a coach, I am thankful for trainers like Dakota."

Dakota represents BRS on the City Wellness Committee, facilitating quarterly meetings and wellness check ins with city employees. And also, serves on the Boone County Hospital's Wellness Committee.

We are so proud that Dakota serves in all these roles and also in clinic working the front desk. Tell Dakota Hello when you see him around!

May celebrates Speech Therapy Month!

Leslie, our Speech and Language pathologist, evaluates and forms a treatment plan of language, cognition, voice, articulation, swallowing and fluency of children and adults with delays or disabilities through Speech Therapy!

Therapy helps each person work toward increased functioning and independence in their daily lives by providing therapeutic strategies that are specific to each person's needs.

April ends Occupational Therapy Month! Emily and Zoey make such a wonderful team for our office and patients. We are glad to have you!

The overall goal of Occupational Therapy is to enable individuals to participate as fully as possible in daily life. We use evidenced-based practice to assist individuals in overcoming impairments that are inhibiting their ability to participate in meaningful activities.

Our Occupational Therapist, Emily, develops a treatment plan in collaboration with the patient and their family to target patient-specific goals. This can look incredibly different from person to person, depending on their needs and limitations.
