We’re looking for a CNA / Program Assistant to join our Adult Day Services team in Boonsboro, Maryland!

💼 Position: Full-Time (Monday–Friday / No Major Holidays!)
💰 Pay: $16.50–$20.50 per hour
📋 Requirement: Current CNA license with the Maryland Board of Nursing

As a Program Assistant, you’ll help support the day-to-day operations of our Jone L. Bowman Adult Day Center—a warm, engaging space that’s part of Fahrney Keedy’s full continuum of care for older adults.

It's going to be a beautiful week here at Fahrney Keedy! This Thursday, November 6th at 3pm and join us for an exciting step into the future of Independent Living!

Our much-anticipated expansion begins with this beautiful 1,600+ sq. ft. single-family model home. Its open floor plan bodes well for the active senior who still enjoys entertaining, having company, complete with a gorgeous kitchen, all-weather sunroom, and more!

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce will be orchestrating a ribbon-cutting shortly after 3pm, along with proclamations and special remarks from our leadership and from our partners on this project, Noelker and Hull Architects, and Paul Crampton Contractors, Inc.!

This afternoon, we held our Quarterly Memorial Service in our chapel. This longstanding tradition honors residents who've passed away and gives fellow residents, staff members, and family members a chance to come together for a brief worship service.

Lovingly organized by worship leader Candice Summers and our in-house Chaplain Dana Mersereau, this service is complete with the piano accompaniment of Judy Long, hymns, prayer, and an opportunity for loved ones to share memories.

Happy Halloween week from all of us! We’re feeling especially grateful to everyone who made last week’s Trick-or-Treat so much fun! We had a record number of little ones join us as our residents passed out candy, shared laughs, and so many smiles!

At The Bowman Center at Fahrney Keedy, our Memory Care wing, families take comfort in knowing that loved ones with memory loss receive the best care, kindness, and personal attention. The Bowman Center specializes in senior memory care for persons with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments, including dementia. We provide security and privacy in comfortable, homelike surroundings.

Our knowledgeable staff is trained in appropriate memory care activities and recreation while ensuring residents remain safe and secure.

Rooms primed for personalization with mementos, photographs, and cherished belongings await your loved one. Wide walkways that wrap around the gorgeous, naturally-lit atrium are designed to encourage regular mobility. A stroll through our center can easily feel like a leisurely stroll through an outdoor space, complete with street lamps!
