Dear Patients,
There are two bills in the Senate (SB 144 and 179) that were presented in committee on 02/25/2025. These bills would significantly decrease the restrictions on nurse practitioners in Missouri. This would allow nurse practitioners to provide care to their full capacity, decrease overall healthcare costs and increase access to healthcare for Missourians. We are encouraging you to write or call the senators of the Emerging Issues and Professional Registration Committee and ask them to pass this bill out of committee for debate on the Senate floor. Sharing your personal experience with care from nurse practitioners would be helpful as well. Below are the senators and their emails/phone numbers.
