Ascension is one of the nation’s leading non-profit and Catholic health systems, with a Mission of delivering compassionate, personalized care to all with special attention to those most vulnerable. In FY2024, Ascension provided $2.1 billion in care of persons living in poverty and other community benefit programs. Across 16 states and the District of Columbia, Ascension’s network encompasses approximately 106,000 associates, 26,000 aligned providers, 105 wholly owned or consolidated hospitals, and 34 senior living facilities. Additionally, through strategic partnerships, Ascension holds an ownership interest in 26 other hospitals.

Ascension St. Vincent Warrick has been named an accredited Geriatric Emergency Department by the American College of Emergency Physicians. This prestigious designation recognizes our commitment to providing specialized, high-quality emergency care for older adults. This accreditation means our team is focused on addressing unique needs, like mobility concerns, managing complex medications, recognizing and caring for patients with delirium, preventing falls and offering important nutrition needed in this age group.

We're proud to offer this specialized care for the seniors and families we are privileged to serve.

Heads Up, Athletes & Parents!

🧠 FREE Concussion Testing on July 22 & 29

Ascension St. Vincent is offering free ImPACT concussion baseline testing for local athletes aged 10 and above. Establishing a cognitive baseline now helps protect your athlete if they ever suffer a head injury in the future. Tests remain valid for two years. The test measures memory, reaction time, and processing speed, helping trainers and doctors make informed decisions in the event of a concussion.

🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Healing in Warrick County 🎉

On July 11, 1975, Warrick Hospital officially opened its doors—bringing a dream to life for a group of dedicated community leaders who believed local families deserved quality care close to home. What began with 150 staff members and 18 physicians has grown into Ascension St. Vincent Warrick, a trusted name in healthcare and a vital part of the community for five decades.

Through every era, from construction in the early ’70s to joining the St. Mary’s family in 1978 to becoming part of the Ascension network, our mission has remained the same: delivering compassionate, high-quality care to those we serve. 💙

Our Story

Since 1975, Ascension St. Vincent Warrick in Boonville, Indiana, continues to provide “The Care You Need... Close to Home” to the communities of Warrick, Spencer and Pike counties. As a critical access hospital, we have 25 inpatient acute care beds, a 24/7 emergency department, and a geriatric Serenity Unit for behavioral and mental health needs. St. Vincent Warrick is accredited by The Joint Commission, a national, independent, not-for-profit healthcare accreditation and certification organization.

Outpatient medical services include multi-specialty medical care, all in one convenient location. Ascension St. Vincent Warrick is part of an integrated network of healthcare through Ascension St. Vincent Evansville and supports the tri-state region and southwest Indiana.
