This afternoon our residents enjoyed a Penny Auction led by Libby from AseraCare Hospice - Evansville. She came with a table full of fun prizes and plenty of laughs. Our residents had a great time bidding and winning! We are so thankful for her time, her kindness, and her generosity!

Hospice and Transcendent Healthcare North share the same goal: providing comfort, dignity, and quality of life for those we serve. Crafts invite more than creativity. They offer residents the chance to practice fine motor skills, spark memory recall, and enjoy a hands on activity with friends. They encourage us to take a breath to focus and bring a sense of pride and accomplishment when completed.

During “Craft Hour with Katie” today, we created colorful sun catchers that now brighten our windows in our shared dining area and personal rooms.

As the light shines through each piece, we are reminded of the beauty in continuing to grow. Here at Transcendent Healthcare North, the light is always ours to catch.

Today, we had the opportunity to donate a variety of chips and candy bars to the Warrick County Council on Aging, Inc / Warrick County Senior Center in support of their upcoming Purse Bingo Night on August 9, 2025. This event is a community favorite where participants enjoy an evening of bingo and the chance to win designer purses! In addition to the games, pulled pork sandwiches, chips, drinks, and candy bars will be available for purchase during the event.

All proceeds from Purse Bingo go directly toward supporting the Warrick County Senior Center’s programs, including meals, transportation, wellness activities, and social engagement for local older adults.

We at Transcendent Healthcare North are proud to contribute to an event that helps sustain such an important resource in our community!

It’s back to school season!

Thanks to the generosity of our owner, Tom O’Niones, every employee who signed up received a personalized school supply box for each of their children that was hand picked and packed while tailored to match their specific grade, school, and supply list.

It’s one thing to say you support your team, but it’s another thing entirely to show it. From your team at Transcendent Healthcare North, we want to say thank you, Tom! You didn’t just help with school supplies, you helped lift a little weight off a lot of shoulders. We couldn’t appreciate it more!

A little butterfly is on the way and today we made sure her mama felt as loved as she truly is. Makaylah, one of our incredible night shift CNAs, has spent countless nights tending to others with calm hands and an open heart. She’s the kind of caregiver who shows up without needing praise, one who is steady, kind, and always exactly where she’s needed. So today, we showed up for her. We tried our best to create a space full of butterfly kisses, handwritten notes, and the kind of ice cream bar that could match any sweet tooth craving.

It’s moments like today that remind us that motherhood isn’t made in milestones. It’s found in showing up on days that it’s hard to do so, in staying patient, in learning as you go, and in loving through the chaos. It’s built in the middle of messy mornings, late night worries, and tiny everyday moments no one else sees. There’s no perfect path and no map to follow. It’s learning to lead with the kind of love that always finds its way, even when your hands feel full and your eyes haven’t seen sleep.

We’re so proud of Makaylah. Not just because she’s about to be a mom, but because she already lives her life with the kind of care that motherhood is made of.

📣 Please join us in welcoming two new faces to our Transcendent Healthcare North family!

Kylee Chapman and Lynlee Schuetz have joined our nursing department as “Helping Hands” which is a vital support role that works alongside our certified staff to ensure residents’ comfort, cleanliness, and safety throughout the day. From passing water and helping with mealtime to keeping rooms tidy and assisting with resident activities, this role is invaluable.

Kylee is getting a head start in the healthcare field by gaining hands on experience and exploring different aspects of resident care, which is such an important step as she works her way towards her goal of working in healthcare long term as a CNA and beyond! Lynlee has her sights set on becoming a registered nurse and will be taking full advantage of our facility’s career path program, which supports team members through CNA, QMA, LPN and RN certification!

We’re proud to invest in our staff’s future and excited to watch Kylee and Lynlee both grow through each stage of their individual journeys!

Yesterday, live music filled the halls of our facility thanks to the incredibly talented Angel Rhodes / Angel Rhodes Music. Her voice, her presence, and her performance brought a sense of comfort that can never be overstated. We so love it when she visits!

Residents living with dementia or those navigating major life changes like a hospital stay, a fall, rehab therapy, or a move into long term care, often struggle to find consistent grounding. The shift is hard, even when it’s temporary. Thats why we here at Transcendent Healthcare North find ways to help make that transition feel not so difficult. Music helps with that. It supports memory recall, lowers anxiety, and activates parts of the brain that remain responsive long after verbal communication becomes difficult.

During the performance, one resident sat shoulder to shoulder with her husband. No distractions. No redirection. Just presence and a shared moment of connection. To our families and community: these are the moments your support makes possible. When you visit or simply ask how someone is doing, it truly matters. If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to stop in and connect, this is your sign! Come share our space with us. These are the memories that last and we would love to share them with you 💙

Last night was one for the books at Transcendent Healthcare North. A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to Dawson and Jenna from Herring Entertainment and Stateline Fireworks for gifting our residents the ultimate Fourth of July experience—completely free of charge. Their generosity and compassion didn’t go unnoticed and were so incredibly thankful. Not only did they light up the sky, they lit up our entire evening with their kindness, energy, and genuine connection with our residents. From music to glow sticks to laughter and dancing, they came out ready to bring the fun and they did not disappoint.

⭐️ A huge shoutout to our staff who made the night flow seamlessly. Every resident that wanted to be a part of this experience got to be thanks to your teamwork, coordination, and care.

Thank you again to Herring Entertainment and Stateline Fireworks for going above and beyond to serve our community. And thank you to our staff for always showing up with compassion, dedication, and a little sparkle of your own.

Here’s to more summer nights!
