Every dollar raised will be donated to Impact Ministries, helping them continue their mission of serving and uplifting our community.

We couldn’t be prouder to be a part of the Boonville Community! Yesterday, we stepped up in a big way—105 patrons served and 140 meals shared at the Warrick Ecumenical Soup Kitchen. 👏🍽️

And the impact didn’t stop there! We also chose WESK, using funds collected from our car show we recently hosted right here on campus, to donate! 🚗❤️

WESK expressed their gratitude to us, thanking Woodmont Health Campus for our hard work, kindness, and commitment to serving our community.

This week we had the joy of celebrating Bill’s 99th birthday — what an incredible milestone! 🥳 Even more special, he shares this week with our wonderful Social Services Director, Mirielle, who also celebrates her birthday today! 🎂

We’re so grateful to celebrate both of these amazing people — one marking nearly a century of wisdom and smiles, and the other sharing her compassion and care with everyone she meets. 💙

🍽️ Tater Temptations is rolling into Woodmont! 🚚

Join us Thursday, November 6th from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. as Tater Temptations Food Truck serves up their delicious loaded taters and more right here at Woodmont Health Campus! 🥔✨

In addition to serving great food, Tater Temptations is collecting monetary donations to help those impacted by the government shutdown and delays in SNAP benefit releases. All donations will go toward purchasing food for individuals and families in need. 💛

Today we are having a new event here at Woodmont memory care. We had our very first resident lunch event. This event uses Montessori practices to encourage residents to use their cooking skills to have a meal made by them. They had breakfast for lunch with fried eggs, ham steaks, and strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Ms. Willie helped on the griddle this week helping make the pancakes. We served hot helpings of good food and fun.

Attention everyone — it’s that fun time of the year when creativity meets the gourd! Our staff at Woodmont Health Campus has been busy carving, painting, and decorating pumpkins for our annual staff pumpkin contest, and the residents got to vote for their favorite! We tried something new and ambitious here at Woodmont. We may be the first long term care facility to hold our very own rage room event. Our residents and staff geared up in full protective gear and went to town destroying everything from appliances to dishware. Truth of the matter is that this was a good chance for not only our staff to blow off some steam in a way that was healthy, but our residents got to work out some stress too. By the end of the day we had over a hundred pounds of broken glass and dozens of smiles. Both residents and staff are ready to do this event again in the future!!

Here at Woodmont our legacy programming is about maintaining skills and making sure your loved ones are able to do the things they enjoy for as long as possible. Using things like adaptive equipment and a Montessori approach to life enrichment we focus on taking the things your loved one enjoyed before they came here and giving them a way to still do those activities in a safe manner where they can still be themselves.
