Hartmann residents and staff have teamed up to help support Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides beds to children ages 3-17 who are sleeping in unwanted conditions such as a floor, sofa, or in a bed with parents or siblings. Boonville had more that 75 volunteers who came out on March 21st and participated in their first bed build. Together they completed 15 beds and have lots more in the building process. May 2nd is the next build.
Residents and Staff are not always available to help with the building process so we are helping out by collecting any new sheets, bed in a bag, comforters, mattress pads and pillows for twin size beds, if any family or friends would like to help support this grate cause fill free to drop off you’re sheets or pillows at Hartmann and we can plan to get them to Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Little late in posting photos for our Family Night Casino Gathering.
We offered lots of engaging activities, and plenty of laughter and good food. We would like to thank everyone that attended, your presence at our gathering meant the world to us. Thank you for making it truly special! Big shot out to the staff for all their support. We also would like to thank the volunteers that come to help us make the event a success. Dimension of Wellness: Intellectual & Social.

Activity: Residents participated in Trivia Night hosted by Boonville Missouri Rotary Club.

Story: We have several residents that have been part of our community support services programs in Boonville and surrounding areas.

Americare - Hartmann Village is also supporting the Rotary Club with their Food Drive for our local Food Bank. Hartman Village will continue to accept food items until the end of March.

Activity: This week we hosted our own Senior Olympic Games.

Residents participated in four fun events.
Bowling, Ring Toss, Corn hole and Ball Darts.
We shared lots of laughs and friendly competition and cheered each other on.

Bowling: Kathleen took Gold, Gertrude took Silver, and Becky took Bronze.

Ring Toss: Becky took Gold, Ada took Silver, and Becky took Bronze.

Corn hole: Wayne took Gold, Betty took Silver and Orville took Bronze.

Ball Darts: Wayne took Gold, Betty took Silver, and Ada took Bronze.

Activity: This month Becky was selected for resident of the month!
Story: Becky raised 6 children and worked as a nurses aid for several years. The family always looked forward to family vacations during the summers in North Carolina. Becky enjoys playing pitch, greedy and socializing with others. Becky also enjoys being outside.

Healthcare Food Service Workers Week.

We want to give our food service team a shout out! The Food Service team members are Dena, the Dietary Manager and 3 CNA's,
Anna, Alex and Jessica that help fill in as needed.

Residents enjoy the homemade deserts for their birthdays, and their favorite meals are meatloaf, roast beef, and Fried Chicken.
