We had the honor and the pleasure of entertaining the New Franklin kindergarten classes Wednesday. What beautiful precious kiddos!!! Tons of fun. They also got to ride, but didn't get any pictures. If anyone has more pictures, please share. I was a little busy and didn't have time to grab my camera much.

If you like kids and/or horses, and you enjoy playing with kiddos, come help us Wednesday the 15th , 9:00-11:00, at the arena 17244 Doyle Rd., Boonville. We are entertaining 29 beautiful little 5 year olds, and we have riding plus 5 other activities for them to do, i.e. horse painting, barrel racing, roping, and other stuff. We need lots and lots of help. Please let me know if you have questions or are available. You'll have tons of fun. These kids are amazing!!!

REC is offering a new Equine Assisted Therapy class called Becoming Truly You. The focus of this class is to teach certain skills in communication, building trust, and creating better relationships. It is a hands-on experiential program with the horses. Then these skills are translated into life with people. We do address individual challenges and encourage people to try "different" rather than to just try "harder." This is a 6 session class held on the 1st and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 1:00 . It will last about 1 1/2 hours per session and will be held at REC's arena in Boonville, MO. It is led by Bonnie Riley, Licensed Psychologist. Who should attend: Adults dealing with stress, depression, trauma, or just challenges of life. Especially effective for people who feel a special connection with animals. In some instances, insurance may pay for this program. Classes are scheduled August 27, September 3, September 24, October 10, October 22, and November 5. BECOMING TRULY YOU!!! This is the title of our new series of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. We are offering a 6 session Equine Assisted Therapy Program for adults held twice a month , on the 1st and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 1:00 at Riley Equine Center in Boonville. This class will be 1 1/2 hours of direct connection and communication with the horse. Insurance may cover in some instances. Contact us for more details.

Guess who rode today!!!! The 5 beautiful kiddos that you donated to!!! They are so sweet and appreciative!! We are in love with these foster kids, and we get to serve them because of YOU!!!!!! YOU, my dear friends, donated enough for them to ride for a month. We thank you, and they thank you. Look at these precious happy faces. We're addressing PTSD and anxiety.

Everybody loves Will!!!!! We are very fortunate to have Will Patton as a volunteer. Everyone loves him, especially the kids. He gets lots of hugs during a day's work.
