On January 3rd, a few of our athletes and coaches attended the Men’s MIZZOU basketball game to accept a $6,000 check on behalf of Special Olympics from Multipli Credit Union. We were treated to food and drinks before the game and sat court side to cheer on the Tigers! It was a fun experience and a great game to watch!

After a 10 year break we are back on the court! Thanks to Mike Goetze, Haldan Toomsen, and Jerry Bush offering to be our Basketball coaches!
On January 22, Special Olympics was invited to play an exhibition game at half time of the MIZZOU girls game! Our Sisters Supportive Living group of 50+ players, coaches, staff, family and friends got into the game for free! MIZZOU handed out posters and cowboy hats also free, and we sat court side cheering on the Tigers! And of course before the game we treated the athletes and coaches to a well deserved meal at Cheddar’s.
Jerseys are in and we have been practicing hard! Our team and coaches are excited to play in Boonville on February 7th. Please come out to watch or volunteer!
