What is a psychos*xual evaluation or a risk assessment?
A psychos*xual evaluation (PSE) is conducted to assess the level of risk an individual may pose to themselves or others, especially in cases involving s*xual misconduct or offenses. This process helps identify patterns of behavior, underlying motivations, and the likelihood of future harmful actions.
Risk assessments such as the Static 99, Stable and AASI are used to determine the level of risk an individual poses to themselves or others, particularly in cases of s*xual violence and beyond. At Calm the Chaos, we are trained in a variety of risk assessments for adolescents and adults with and without a court order.

CTC is excited to announce that we are now offering psychos*xual screenings. We have been fully trained in administering the Abel Assessment for Sexual Interest in NJ.
The AASI is a psychological tool used to evaluate the s*xual interests of adult s*x offenders by measuring their visual reaction time to various images while also collecting self-reported information about their s*xual behaviors and preferences through a questionnaire. Essentially, it aims to identify potential deviant s*xual interests that could indicate a risk of re-offending.
There are 3 types of the AASI including:

The Abel Assessment for s*xual interest-3m for Men and Women (AASI-3)
The Abel Assessment for s*xual interest-2™ for Boys and Girls ages 12-17 (AASI-2)
The Abel-Blasingame Assessment System for individuals with intellectual disabilities ™(ABID)

These assessments are most often used in custody cases, court systems and forensic settings.

What are immigration evaluations?

Immigration evaluations can highlight the psychological and emotional factors that may influence an individual's immigration needs. The findings can play a crucial role in the outcome of the case, often contributing to a more favorable decision.

Delanco Man Charged with Extorting N**e Photos from Juveniles

Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw announced that a 24-year-old Delanco man is facing multiple child pornography-related charges after an investigation determined he was blackmailing young girls he met online into sending him n**e images of themselves.

Bryce Berger was charged with Production of Child Sexual Abuse Material (First Degree), Possession with Intent to Distribute Child Sexual Abuse Material (Second Degree), Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (Second Degree), Impairing/Debauching the Morals of a Child (Second Degree), Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (Third Degree), Obscenity to a Minor (Third Degree) and Sexual Extortion (Third Degree).

Berger was arrested yesterday morning during the ex*****on of a search warrant at his residence. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly pending a detention hearing in Superior Court. The case will now be prepared for presentation to a grand jury for possible indictment.

Multiple electronic devices were seized and will be examined by detectives from the BCPO High-Tech Crimes Unit.

Berger is employed by Medford Township Public Schools as a computer technician. It is a non-instructional position, and he was not around students in an unsupervised capacity, school officials indicated. It is not believed at this point that any of the victims were students at the school, although the investigation is continuing.

The investigation began after the Prosecutor’s Office received information concerning Berger’s online activities. The investigation revealed that Berger used an online app to request and receive n**e photos from underage girls, then threatened to post those n**e images if they failed to send him additional photos. The investigation further revealed that Berger sent s*xually explicit images to victims, as well as images of child s*xual abuse material to another person.

Investigators identified numerous victims ranging in age from approximately 12 to 17 years old.

The investigation was conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office, with assistance from the Delanco Township Police Department and United States Homeland Security Investigations – Cherry Hill Office. The New Jersey State Police TEAMS Unit assisted with the search warrant ex*****on. The lead investigator is BCPO Detective Tiffany Lenart. Berger will be prosecuted by the BCPO Special Victims Unit.

The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office is a member of the New Jersey Internet Crimes Against Children Task (NJ ICAC Task Force).

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

What is a Parenting Coordinator?:
A parenting coordinator, who can be either a mental health professional or an experienced lawyer, serves as a neutral third party to facilitate resolution of issues affecting child visitation arrangements and other concerns relating to a child/children. Appointed by the Superior Court, they work with one or both parents to address conflicts. When ordered by the court, the parenting coordinator regularly meets with the parents, offers advice and recommendations on meetings, establishes custody and visitation arrangements, and sets guidelines for appropriate parental activities.
