Basketball League has been EXTENDED thru October 17th.

We have openings in all divisions!

Most notably, BABL is looking for high school boys ( Grades 9 through 12) who want to play BABL this fall.
NOTE: The Boys High school division holds practices and games on Tuesday evenings.

The board of directors has two vacant positions yet to be filled. We are seeking 2 volunteers for the Board Secretary position and Girls Major Division Director.

Hello Bordentown and surrounding area residents!
The BABL board of directors is beginning to plan for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
We are in search of a few residents to join the Board of Directors.

There are two positions open.
Secretary and Assistant Sponsorship Director.
The board meets 1 to 2 times per month, between August and February, either in person or on a zoom call.

Tonight, the BABL board of directors bid farewell to 3 long standing members.
With a combined 30+ years of experience on the Board of Directors, we cannot thank Eric Wollman, Anthony Tonzini and Chris Matthews enough and wish you well.

Eric has served as the BABL President, Vice President, Division Director, Player Agent, as well as a head coach in every level BABL offers.

Anthony has been the BABL Treasurer and
Procurement Specialist for many years. He has also been a head coach in the Boys divisions.

Chris has been a board member for 10+ years , most recently as the Director of Purchasing. Responsible for uniforms, trophies, awards and photos.
He has also served as Divsion director and Head coach in both the Girls and Boys divisions.

From all board members, past and present, and from all coaches and BABL volunteers over the years, we thank you for your time, dedication and efforts.
You all leave BABL in a better place than it was before your involvement.

Our 2024-25 BABL season concluded Monday with 5 Championships and our annual Miniball shootout on Sunday.

James "Boomer" Walton Memorial Foundation

A Non-profit organization, The James "Boomer" Walton Scholarship Foundation was founded in honor of Burlington County resident, James "Boomer" Walton, Jr.
James had a passion for all sports, especially football.
The Foundation hosts an annual Co****le tournament every August to raise money for scholarships in his memory.
The program also provides two , $1000 scholarships to graduating High School seniors in the program, as well as donating to other youth activities, such as BABL.

Coaches Achievement Award

The Coaches Achievement Award is an award given to a player who demonstrates positive qualities beyond their performance on the court.

Criteria for award as agreed by the division directors which follows the BABL mission.

-demonstrates good sportsmanship
-listens to the coach
-is reliable in attendance at practice and games
-is a consistent team player who assists other players
-shows leadership
-demonstrates work ethic
-has an unselfish attitude.

🏀2024-25 BABL CHAMPIONS CROWNED🏀

"Manic Monday", "Chaos on Crosswicks" whatever you want to call it, the BABL finals definitely did not let us down tonight.
5 BABL championship games taking place in the heart of Bordentown City at Clara Barton and MacFarland.
Congratulations to the Champions and Runner up.

Boys Junior Champion:🥇
Bordentown Home for Funerals, Head coach Kevin Endicott. They defeated Boomer Memorial scholarship in a nail biter, that came down to the final seconds, 25-23.

Girls Minor Champion: 🥇
BT Fitness, Head coad Gregg Zenerovitz, BT Fitness defeated a very frisky , determined and scrappy The Tanning Zone in a down to the wire finish, 19-16.

Boys Minor Champion:🥇
Exit 7 Sealcoating, Head Coach Mick Cimorelli won their game over Villa Mannino in convincing fashion 42-23.

Girls Major Champion:🥇
Chestnut Village Apartments, Head coach Charles Coleman used an early lead that and held on to defeat Empire Pizza 30-22.

Boys Major Champion:🥇
Knights of Columbus, Head Coach Joe Sergio. An overtime thriller that ended up 54-52 over In The Cut Tattoo studio, coached by Jeff Tober.
