Monday was off to a great start making breakfast pizzas on the 3rd floor.

*Cable company transition begins next week*
Work will begin to transition from Comcast to DirectTV next week. During this time there will be some intermittent disruptions in service to residents during the install period. Monday will begin with antenna installation (no impact to residents). Tuesday work will begin at Gerrish Manor and may extend into Wednesday. Gerrish Manor residents will have intermittent outages during that time. Once Gerrish Manor is complete work will begin here at the nursing home.

Oh, what fun was had yesterday! Guided painting with Tracey, staff dressed as their favorite characters and visits from special guests! Countdown to Christmas begins!! 🎄

Enjoying the holiday season with concerts, baking, crafts and a special visit from MV high school who sang at happy hour!

Residents enjoyed a Christmas parade put on by some Merrimack County employees and caroling from a local high school. 🎄❄

Infection Control Update: Gerrish Manor influenza

It’s been a long couple of days down at Gerrish Manor. Since discovering the first case of influenza A this past Friday, several new cases have developed effecting both residents and staff over the weekend. With 9 cases now identified, public has officially placed the Gerrish manor facility in an active outbreak. With this being the case we request that you reschedule any visits that you may have planned until the outbreak resolves. If you are unable to reschedule your visit it is highly recommended that you follow all outbreak protocol to help us minimize any further spread.

1. Please wear a mask for the duration of your visit.
2. Practice frequent hand washing.
3. Limit travel throughout the facility, sticking only to the locations necessary for your visit.
