Stress doesn’t just affect your mind, it can affect your body too, especially your pelvic floor.

Emotional stress and anxiety can cause your pelvic muscles to tighten without you even realizing it, leading to:

✔️ Pelvic pain or pressure
✔️ Tightness & discomfort
✔️ Urinary urgency or frequency
✔️ Lower back or hip tension
✔️ Difficulty fully relaxing

Your body keeps score, and chronic tension can show up in ways many people don’t expect.

✨ Simple habits like deep breathing, gentle stretching, relaxation exercises, and pelvic floor therapy can help release tension and improve overall comfort.

Taking care of your mental and physical health go hand in hand 💜

Healing goes beyond symptoms, it’s about restoring confidence, comfort, and quality of life 💜

We’re incredibly grateful for patients like Patty who trust us with their healing journey.

Pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, weakness, and other health concerns can affect daily life more than people realize, but you don’t have to face it alone.

If you’ve been struggling with pelvic floor issues, discomfort, pain, or mobility concerns, this may be your sign to finally prioritize your health.

💬 Have questions about pelvic floor therapy? Drop them in the comments or send us a DM — we’d love to help.

Men’s pelvic pain is more common than most people realize, and ignoring it can make it worse.

Pain in the hips, lower back, pelvis, groin, or core can be connected to:

✔️ Heavy lifting
✔️ Sports strain & overtraining
✔️ Muscle tension
✔️ Postural issues
✔️ Prostate-related discomfort
✔️ Pelvic floor dysfunction

These symptoms are NOT something you just “have to live with.”

At Sow & Reap Physical Therapy, we help men and women uncover the root cause of pelvic pain, improve mobility, restore strength, and get back to living confidently and comfortably.

💬 Have questions about men’s pelvic health or physical therapy? Drop them in the comments or send us a DM — your question could help someone else too.

Even without a vaginal delivery, pregnancy alone places continuous pressure on the pelvic floor for months. On top of that, a C-section is still major abdominal surgery, which affects your core, breathing mechanics, and deep stability system that supports the pelvic floor.

That’s why symptoms like leakage, heaviness, back pain, or core weakness can still show up after a C-section—and often get overlooked because “you didn’t deliver vaginally.”

The good news: this is treatable.
With the right pelvic floor and core rehab, your body can regain strength, support, and control again.

👉 If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, book a consultation so we can properly assess what’s going on and guide your recovery.

Painful s*x after childbirth isn’t something you should just “push through” or ignore.

If you had tearing, stitches, or an episiotomy, what you’re feeling might not be random—it can be connected to how the tissue healed underneath. Tightness, sensitivity, or discomfort during intimacy can come from real changes in scar tissue.

And the frustrating part? Most women are never told this.

There are ways to assess what’s going on and help your body feel safe, flexible, and comfortable again.

If this is you, don’t wait for it to “just go away.”

👉 Book a consultation so we can help you understand what your body is actually telling you—and what you can do next.
