For our August , we would like to recognize Matthew! He has been with The Blake for four years and has become a vital part of our community.

Matthew is one of our dishwashers here at The Blake. He is an extremely hard worker who always goes above and beyond for our residents. He is funny, dependable, and always gets the job done!

His favorite part about working at The Blake is that “they believed in me.” He believes this is the best place he has ever worked because it is a dependable company.

Fun Fact: He is married and has fur babies — if stray animals show up at his house, he takes them in!

Thank you, Matthew, for all that you do. Congratulations!

For our July , we’d like you to meet Dean and Mary!

They have been part of our community for four years. Dean was chosen for his great sense of humor and thoughtful nature, and Mary was chosen for her sweet and kind spirit.

One thing they love about living at The Blake is that everything is taken care of—from meals and medications to cleaning services, life is convenient.

If Dean could offer one piece of advice, it would be: “If you have to leave home, please come to The Blake. We’ve been here four years, and it is home.”

Fun fact: Dean and Mary have been married for 72 years! They both love golf and even used to live on a golf course.

Dean and Mary have brought so much life to The Blake, and we are so lucky to have them!
