Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, godmothers, foster mothers, and the women who love, guide, support, and care for others like a mother every single day.

Today we also hold space for those longing to become mothers, those missing their mothers, and those carrying both joy and heartache on this day.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

In the labor community, we’re taught to be tough, to push through, and to carry the load. But real strength is knowing when to speak up and ask for help.

At LAP of MA, we’re committed to supporting mental health and recovery for every worker and their family. No one should suffer in silence.

Today, we recognize the strength, sacrifice, and solidarity of working men and women everywhere. May Day is a reminder of the foundation built by those who came before us and the responsibility we carry to support one another today.

Today we pause to honor the men and women who never made it home from work.

On Workers Memorial Day, we remember those we’ve lost, stand with the families and brothers and sisters they left behind, and renew our commitment to safer workplaces for all.

Every name matters. Every life matters.
This day is a reminder that going to work should never cost someone their life.
